Cryptocurrency are a subset of alternative currency, or specifically of digital currencies. Bitcoin became the first decentralized cryptocurrency in 2009.
Since then, numerous cryptocurrencies have been created. These are frequently called altcoins, as a blend of bitcoin alternative.
Cryptocurrencies use decentralized control as opposed to centralized electronic/centralized banking systems.
The decentralized control is related to the use of blockchain transaction database in the role of a distributed ledger.
Whilst Bitcoin is though safe, it is a slow 2009 build. Now, whilst the crowd, banks, and even Governments are looking into this blockchain, we are creating A3coin (^A3C) via the Ethereum network.
